SPRING/SUMMER SHOW

The Spring/Summer Show was launched in 2003, the same year Colombo Fashion Week was established, as the primary season in the annual fashion calendar. Over the last 12 years, the Spring/Summer Show has served as the most important and respected designer showcase in Sri Lanka, and has featured the collections of renowned Sri Lankan and international fashion talent.

The longstanding commitment of Colombo Fashion Week to provide exposure to Sri Lankan designers through the Spring/Summer Show has earned it the reputation of being the backbone of Sri Lanka’s fashion industry. It is also one of four main Fashion Weeks in Asia that are over ten years old.

RESORT WEAR SHOW

Colombo Fashion Week is the very first fashion week in Asia to fully incorporate the resort wear category into its annual fashion calendar as a main season. Debuting in 2012, the Resort Wear Show of Colombo Fashion Week takes place between September and October each year and provides a platform for designers to showcase their work and new fashion perspectives for the season.

Showcasing beach wear, swim wear, holiday wear and cruise wear, designed and produced by leading local and international designers, the Resort Wear Show has been held at some of the most beautiful destinations in Sri Lanka, such as Negombo, the Galle Fort and the Lighthouse Hotel in Galle, over the last three years.

SWIM BY CFW

In 2015, Colombo Fashion Week launches Swim as a third season in its annual fashion calendar. Swimwear is a specialized category and Swim, as a season of its own, shows immense growth potential. Swim by CFW will serve as the foremost platform for Sri Lankan swimwear designers and manufacturers as well as leading international swimwear labels.

Swim by CFW will take place between the months of July and August each year, and will highlight the latest collections and trends in swimwear.
